Built by the people who were doing the paperwork

TempTag came out of a temporary works consultancy, not out of a product studio. It was built against real briefs, real hold points and real audits, because those were the things costing us evenings.

Temporary Worx

The consultancy behind the platform

Temporary Worx Ltd is a UK temporary works specialist, helping construction and infrastructure teams plan, manage and evidence safe temporary works. TempTag is our NFC inspection, tagging and compliance platform.

That origin is why the product is opinionated about hold points and about attribution. A permit that anyone can issue, or an inspection nobody signed, is not a record, and on temporary works the record is the whole point.

UK based

Colwyn Bay, north Wales. UK and EU hosting.

Tenant isolated

Each customer's data separated by default, with SSO on Enterprise.

Audit first

Every change attributed and timestamped, not reconstructable after the fact.

Field tested

Built and used on live schemes before it was sold to anybody.

Integrations

It fits the systems you already run on

SharePoint

Document storage per customer through Microsoft Graph, so evidence sits where your other records already live.

Power BI Roadmap

A reporting feed for Power BI is specified and on the roadmap. It is not shipped, and it is listed here as a roadmap item.

BS 5975 hub

What the standard actually asks of you

BS 5975 sets out procedural control for temporary works: a designated individual, a coordinator, a supervisor where the work needs one, a design brief for every item, a category that decides the level of check, and a register that says what exists and what state it is in.

TempTag is shaped around those roles and that sequence, but it does not perform them. The appointments, the category decisions and the independent design check stay with the competent people appointed to them. What the platform does is make sure each of those things has somewhere to be recorded, and surfaces it when it has not been.
